Whether you need a visa or not to come to the UK to study depends mainly on the type and nationality of passport which you hold. The type of visa necessary is then determined by your age, the duration of your studies. your level of English and the type of course.
If you are a citizen of a country within the European Economic Area* or Switzerland, then you will not require a visa to study in the UK. Your national passport or identity card is all that is needed.
