Host Families

While attending the Students International Study Centre, students stay in carefully selected, British Home Stay accommodation. Home Stay accommodation is an ideal way to experience British culture and improve English speaking ability while outside of lessons.

All families are located in Melton Mowbray, within walking distance of the main Students International buildings.

Home Stay

Our Home Stay accommodation allows for a highly personal and immersive British cultural experience. Students are carefully matched to families who will provide the most appropriate level of support or independence in the most suitable environment. Students are encouraged to build a relationship with the family, taking part in everything that life has to offer.

Learning through Conversation

Often the biggest advantage to Home Stay accommodation is the extra language learning time that living with an English speaking family affords. By taking part in daily activities, conversational English improves much quicker than with tuition alone.

Safe and Secure

To ensure that all of our host families meet our high standards, each host is personally interviewed and accommodation checked for suitability by the Director or her assistant. All prospective hosts are also verified in accordance with current UK Child Protection legislation.
