Alison is the founder and director of Students International. She holds a Secretarial and Business Certificate from Langham College London. Alison has a wide range of administrative experience with both UK and American companies and taught music for 6 years at Hollygirt School, Nottingham and for 10 years at Ratcliffe College Leicestershire. Alison is also the Chair of the AEGIS Trustees.
Alison has two grown up daughters and enjoys playing the piano and going to the theatre.
Jackie joined Students International as Alison's personal assistant with a particular responsibility for the organisation of host families and the Guardianship Service. She is a qualified secretary with considerable experience in the administration of organisations both in the public and private sector.
Jackie lives with her husband Reg, two dogs and a cat, and enjoys life in the country.
As Director of Studies David is responsible for all aspects of course design and implementation, as well as supervision of the highly qualified teaching staff. After gaining substantial experience working in Turkey, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and South Korea as a teacher and Director of Studies, David returned and settled in the UK in 2004.
David joined Students International in 2004 and was appointed Director of Studies in 2006. In addition to his work with Students International, David is also an IELTS examiner. He is married to Eunjin, and has three young children. He likes fishing and enjoys playing tennis and cricket in his free time.
For many years Peter was Director of Studies and later Senior Master at Ratcliffe College, and has extensive experience in both teaching and school management. At Students International, Peter plays a key role dealing with the many schools that our students attend, as well as teaching Chemistry at the International Study Centre.
Peter lives with his wife Nicole and enjoys woodwork, wine and historical buildings.
Before joining Students International in 2009, Jane worked as a teacher in Leicestershire primary schools and museums. She ran her own drama school in Syston before moving to Melton with her husband David and two children.
Jane is a part-time English tutor with Students International and specialises in helping students gain confidence with speaking. She also assists Jackie in the office and is helping the students going to university this year learn how to cook.
Jane and her family now share their house with a variety of international students, a dog and some hens. Her hobbies include walking; visiting tea shops and historic buildings and going to the theatre and cinema.
