Students International

Founded in 1985 by Alison Blythe, Students International is a combined Study Centre, Teacher Training and Guardianship Organisation. We pride ourselves on our highly personal service and attention to the individual is always our highest priority.

Over 20 Years Teaching Experience

The first course to be set up was the Summer School, which has run successfully since 1985. In 1997 we were first accredited by the British Council for the purposes of teaching English as a Foreign Language. Our Study Centre was added in 1999 and runs all year round.

Guardianship

In the early 1990's Alison Blythe started our AEGIS (Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students) accredited Guardianship Service, which now deals with students studying at schools and universities across the United Kingdom, from more than a dozen countries.

Teacher Training

1991 saw the introduction of our Teacher Training course, the Trinity College TESOL certificate which still runs regularly at our teaching centre in Melton.

Students International is committed to providing the highest standard of education and care to its students from all over the world and prides itself on the care and attention afforded to the individual.

We are based in Melton Mowbray, a town situated approximately ten miles north of the city of Leicester and fifteen miles south of Nottingham. Melton is renowned for its pork pies and Stilton cheese. Rail connections are excellent, as are roads, owing to the proximity of the M1 and A1.
